Safety
How we work to keep Parqlo a trusted marketplace for students.
How we protect users
Student-only verification
We verify users with .edu email addresses to keep the marketplace limited to students. This helps ensure you're dealing with real people from your campus community.
Blurred location until booking
When browsing, you see approximate spot locations. Exact addresses and access instructions are only shared after your booking is confirmed and paid.
Listing review and moderation
We review listings for accuracy, safety, and policy compliance. Listings that violate our guidelines may be paused or removed.
Reporting and support
If something goes wrong — a spot isn't accessible, a listing is misleading, or you have a safety concern — contact us and we'll investigate.
What's not allowed
To keep the marketplace safe, these behaviors are prohibited:
- Harassment, threats, discrimination, or any harmful behavior toward other users
- Posting fake or misleading listings
- Attempting to bypass verification or security measures
- Using Parqlo for spots you don't have the right to rent out
- Sharing contact info to take transactions off-platform
Violations may result in account suspension, booking cancellation, or removal from the platform.
What we can't guarantee
Parqlo is a marketplace that connects hosts and renters. We don't own or operate parking spots, and we can't guarantee the condition, availability, or accuracy of every listing. We do our best to review listings and respond to issues, but ultimately hosts are responsible for their spots and renters should use good judgment.
