How does student verification work?
We verify users with .edu email addresses to keep the marketplace student-only. You'll need to confirm your email before you can list or book spots. Note: .edu verification helps reduce spam, but we don't verify permits or property authorization. Only list spots you have the right to rent.
How is pricing calculated?
Hosts set their own base price. Parqlo adds a service fee (10% for daily, lower for longer stays) on top. You see the total at checkout — no hidden fees.

You receive 100% of the base price you set — Parqlo covers processing costs through the renter service fee. Payouts are sent to your bank account via Stripe. For bookings 30 days or less, payouts are initiated 48 hours after the booking ends. For bookings longer than 30 days, payouts are initiated in installments: 48 hours after each 30-day period is completed, plus a final payout 48 hours after the booking ends. Payouts may be delayed for verification, disputes, or bank processing times.
What's the difference between daily and monthly bookings?
Daily bookings are flexible (1+ days). Some spots are marked "monthly only" and require a minimum 30-day booking. Monthly bookings have lower service fees.
Why can't I see the exact address before booking?
For safety and privacy, we show approximate (blurred) locations while browsing. You get the exact address and access instructions after your booking is confirmed and paid.

Contact support immediately through the app — report issues within 3 hours of discovery, ideally before leaving your vehicle overnight. We'll investigate and issue a prorated refund for unused days if the issue is verified. For severe issues (access denied from the start, fraud, or safety concerns), you may receive a full refund of total. Verification may include photos, messages, property signage, or other evidence we reasonably request.

Cancellations 24+ hours before start receive a 100% refund of total (base price + service fee). Less than 24 hours before start receive a 50% refund of total. After your booking starts, refunds are not available unless there's a verified issue with the spot — in that case, you'll receive a prorated refund for unused days. Report issues within 3 hours of discovery. Refunds and dispute outcomes may vary where required by law.

You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to rent out the spot. Check your lease, HOA rules, and campus policies. Parqlo can't verify this for you — it's on you to comply.
What if there's damage to my spot or vehicle?
Parqlo is a marketplace connecting hosts and renters. We don't provide insurance or damage coverage. Both parties should have their own insurance and use good judgment.
What's the "hold" during checkout?
When you start checkout, we create a temporary ~10 minute hold on the spot to prevent double-booking while you complete payment. The hold may appear as a pending authorization on your card and typically disappears if you don't complete checkout. If you don't finish, the hold expires and the spot becomes available again.
